Thinking of becoming more active?
We all know that being active is important but most people are unaware of the health risks associated with inactivity. Just 150 minutes a week of regular, moderate level activity can decrease the risk of having a stroke, getting diabetes and certain cancers by 50%. As well as many other health benefits, activity can also reduce the chance of premature death by 20-30%. There are 10,080 minutes in a week, all you need to do is use less than 1.5% of your time in a week to have that level of impact on your health. Surely making exercise and activity a priority in your life makes sense?
